Life can feel overwhelming. Some seasons press hard, test your endurance, and leave you searching for solid ground. This short encouragement points us back to Proverbs 3:5–6 and the invitation to trust God when clarity is missing. Even when the road feels uncertain, God is still directing our steps. Hold on to faith. Life may be tough, but God is stronger.
New Year...Same Person
I had the opportunity to speak at South Hills San Clemente and share a message titled New Year… Same Person. As we step into a new year full of goals, resolutions, and fresh starts, this message reminds us that God isn’t asking for perfection, He’s inviting growth. Together we walk through seven truths that reveal how God works through process, participation, and formation, often long before we see visible change. If you’ve ever felt tension between wanting a new beginning while still carrying old habits, hurts, or questions, this message is for you.
God uses imperfect people
God has never waited for perfect people to accomplish His purposes. Throughout Scripture, He consistently uses weak, wounded, and imperfect people to bring about His greatest work. This message is a reminder that your past, your struggles, and even your doubts do not disqualify you. God specializes in using imperfect people who are willing to trust Him.
Reading from Psalm 23
A reminder that God’s peace is still present, even in the storm.
